Intenary
Start your morning with a relaxing breakfast before
our local guide picks you up — anytime between 9:00 AM
and noon, your choice! We’ll cruise down the river,
then hike slowly through rubber plantations until we
reach the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park — where
the real jungle begins. Keep your eyes open for
orangutans swinging in the trees, sometimes with their
babies, along with Thomas Leaf Monkeys, macaques, and
other tropical wildlife. Take a break with fresh
fruits, enjoy a simple jungle lunch surrounded by
nature, and breathe in the rainforest’s calm energy.
To end the day, hop on a traditional tube raft and
float back down the Bohorok River — a refreshing, fun
way to wrap up your Sumatra jungle adventure. Return
to your guesthouse tired, happy, and full of wild
memories you’ll never forget.
